Reshma Menon (PhD, 2018 - Present)

 

I pursued Bachelor’s in Zoology from Daulat Ram College and subsequently received my Master’s in Zoology from Hindu College, Delhi University.

 

Hormesis is an established phenomenon that entails the enhanced ability of an organism to adapt to a stress-inducing condition encountered at a later stage in life following prior exposure to mild levels of stress. My current interest lies in teasing apart the molecular mechanisms underlying detection and metabolic alterations brought about by the initial bout of stress that contributes to the hormetic effect and decoding the pathways involved in the establishment of metabolic memory.

 

Other than this, I enjoy traveling, portrait sketching and clicking pictures!
